Before you start using InFoE it's as well to know the keys that InFoE uses. These are the main ones:-
F9 | is used for choosing a menu item |
Return | takes you to the next field (it is NOT used for choosing a menu) item: |
Tab | takes you to the next field. |
Cursor keys | move within a field (they do NOT take you to other fields) |
F10 | takes you back to previous screen |
Shift+F10 | Save |
ESC | does nothing |
DEL | does nothing |
F1 | takes you down to the menu: keep pressing F1 for more menu choices. Press Return to get back up from the menu. |
Shift+F6 | List choices available, if field is underlined. |
Ctrl+E | Clear rEst (Everything to right) of field and jump to next field. |
Ctrl+U | Go to nUxt word |
Ctrl+R | Go to pRevious word |
Click & Drag; Alt E, C | Telnet screens only - copy text into buffer |
Alt E, P | Telnet screens only - copy text from buffer |
